DESTROYER TACTICAL ABILITY: RIOT BARRICADE

OVERVIEW: Nobody likes a bully. Be a bully. The DESTROYER SHELL’s hard light mobile protection platform, or RIOT BARRICADE, is a gauntlet-mounted, personal space defender that allows a RUNNER to step hold ground, defend a retreat, or step into a conflict with confidence and bad intentions intact.
OPERATION:
• Activate RIOT BARRICADE
• Take damage with no trauma to your shell
• Hold or push the line until:
• You change tactics, or…
• RIOT BARRICADE dissipates
• RIOT BARRICADE’s charge dissipates when its power recycles
• Incoming damage eats a RIOT BARRICADE’s power, threatening
its durability over time
HISTORY: This variant of a mobile protection platform was first utilized in a security SHELL designed for use by local police forces in cases of extreme social disturbance, hence the name: RIOT BARRICADE. While testing DESTROYER prototypes, the UESC discovered the addition of the BARRICADE to what had previously been a wholly offensively-focused combat suite upped aggressiveness and success rates in live-fire field exercises.
